How to Start Rotary Wildfire Ready in Your Community

Our communities can benefit greatly from Rotarians doing what Rotarians do
— Service Above Self --
Rotary Wildfire Ready was born out of both urgency and hope. After witnessing the devastation of the Paradise, California fire—and realizing how much our own mountain communities resemble theirs—we knew we had to act. Preparing ourselves and our neighbors isn’t just important, it’s essential to protecting lives, homes, and the place we love. Rotary provided the perfect avenue to bring people together, turning concern into action. Today, we’re not only raising awareness—we’re building a stronger, safer, wildfire-ready community.

STEP 1:   ORGANIZE

For any project to succeed, it needs structure and support. Begin by finding partners, organizing your team, and creating a preliminary budget. This foundation sets the stage for success.
